Course Overview

This introductory course offers an entry point into Bowen Family Systems Theory; a natural systems framework for understanding human behavior, relationships, and emotional functioning. Participants will explore how individuals, families, and larger groups operate as interlocking systems, and how these patterns reflect adaptation.

The course is designed for students, professionals, and lifelong learners who want to deepen their understanding of systems thinking in both personal and professional contexts. No prior training in Bowen Theory is required.

Instructors: Arthur Zipris, PhD and Ashley North, LMFT
