Description: "Anxiety and Emotional Reactivity in Therapy" focuses on the ways in which anxiety is manifested in a family, how the level of differentiation affects the ability to adapt to acute or chronic stress, and the ways in which a therapist can reduce the anxiety so that the process of differentiation can begin. Dr. Bowen addresses the importance of a therapist's becoming a more contained self within the emotional arena of his own family in order to stay out of the emotional process in his clinical work.

I understand that Audio and Video tapes that must be shipped from the Educational Resource Center of the Western Pennsylvania Family Center (WPFC) can be borrowed for two weeks from the date they are shipped. I agree to reimburse WPFC for the cost of shipping the tape(s) to me and the insurance for $25.00 on each tape shipped. I agree to incur the cost of the return shipment of the tapes to WPFC and to purchase $25.00 in postal insurance for each tape. Yes, I agree with these terms. No, I do not agree.
