We deliver effective competency-based training to ensure a consistently prepared workforce is in place within family serving agencies. Let The Western Pennsylvania Training Collaborative help you with this goal today!

A Jump Start

Provides direct service providers with the foundational skills and competencies needed to get a good start in the job. Participants learn the over-arching requirements that ensure early success regardless of agency, program or population served.

The Effective Supervisor

Addresses skill requirements for not-for-profit supervisors and managers in family serving agencies. Supervisors from clinical program practice and those who work in a general support function benefit from concepts and tools presented during the program.

Cultural Competency

Discusses concepts related to culture and tools to use to apply culturally relevant information to workplace issues. Participants learn to adopt effective cultural concepts in establishing the worker-client relationship, assessing health-seeking behaviors, identifying strengths and needs, and employing a cultural framework to ‘real’ practice issues.

Lunch & Learn

Represents an opportunity for service providers to learn about current topics in the field. We serve staff a menu of learning, lite lunch, and networking opportunity.
