The first time a direct services worker goes to court tends to be a very daunting experience. This Lunch & Learn helps acquaint participants with the workings of the court system. Representatives from both Criminal Justice and CYF (Children Youth & Family) provide an overview of their organizations, share their perspectives and answer questions.
Often the families our agencies support work with other agencies. Parent Advocates and KidsVoice represent two common agencies that provide support to families. The lunch & learn offers participants an opportunity to learn more about Parent Advocates and KidsVoice’s missions, who they serve, potential ways you may interact with their representatives, information you can share with them and their role in the conciliation process.
